Where does Health Sentinel get its information? 1. What if I have a comment or story that I want to share? We’re always interested in what people have to say. If you wish to leave a comment, then you can do so under each of the news items. All comments are posted and are only filtered for profanity or other inappropriate language. If you wish to contact us to start a dialog - perhaps an important interest story - then please click on the about us to send us feedback. All correspondences and emails are kept strictly confidential. 2. Are the graphs on Health Sentinel freely available for use? Yes. The graphs presented on Health Sentinel are available to anyone as long as Health Sentinel is referenced as the source of the information. In addition, if anyone has raw mortality, disease, or related data please send me feedback and I will incorporate it into the ever-growing database of information and present it free of charge to the public. 3. Can Health Sentinel post news from other sources? We believe according to fair use restrictions on copyright law that posting of such information is valid as it provides valuable news for use by the public. All the information presented on Health Sentinel is from well-respected scientific and medical journals as well as well-known news sources. All information is fully referenced and where possible a link to the on-line information is made available. The data that was used to generate the graphs comes from a large number of sources with those references displayed on the graph itself. |
